Since 1988, Austek have been designing and installing radio repeater systems, including design and erection of fully engineered mountain-top towers, roof-mounted mast setups down to installations of antennae and mobile radios into any type of vehicle or marine fleet.
We also own and operate multi-site mountain-top commercial UHF CB repeaters for fleet communications in Cairns and the Atherton Tableland areas for use by business, councils and the general public.

Remote community specialists
Austek has a permanent presence on Thursday Island at our logistical base to advance projects carried out in the Torres Strait. This includes our accommodation base, stock storage and our own facilities. Austek services clients across the entire North Queensland region and specialises in regional and remote projects, including those across Cape York Peninsula and the Torres Strait Islands. Austek has a fleet of 4WD vehicles and our own helicopter, riggers and doggers, enabling fast mobilisation and reliable access to isolated locations.
Austek can even provide same day on-site service to remote locations in outback Queensland if requested. Sometimes it is easy, sometimes not so easy, but we pride ourselves in providing remote and difficult site access without having to coordinate external resources.
